Ottawa’s Shoreline … Built from Garbage?

The Historical Society of Ottawa will be hosting an afternoon speaker series where attendees will learn about he decision making process that led to much of the Ottawa River Shoreline from Mechanicsville through LeBreton Flats being built from our garbage. Learn about this story and more as Dave Allston takes a look back at some of the major alterations to Ottawa’s landscape in the years following Jacques Greber’s sweeping recommendations.
