Continuing in the spirit of Labour Day, Brian McDougall of People’s History Walking Tours will lead us through the Market and Parliament Hill districts highlighting events and protests that have shaped Ottawa’s working population since Confederation. (The tour will last approximately 2.5-3 hours.)
Brian is a former public servant, university teacher and long-time social and union activist. His tours are inspiring, often provocative… and never boring.
Due to COVID 19 restrictions, this tour will be limited to 9 participants who will be registered on a first come, first served basis. Social distancing will apply to all participants unless you are from the same household. Masks must be worn if participants are ever close than 2 meters apart. It is recommended to wear a hat and to bring a water bottle and sunscreen.
To register please send an email to [email protected] with September Walking Tour as the subject line… or call 613-271-1751. Payment can be made on the day of the tour or in advance by sending a cheque to:
