Our members

The CCPH promotes interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration through a variety of projects and activities. We strive to facilitate contact and exchanges between Carleton faculty and the wider community of public historians, museum professionals, curators, and archivists. And we support graduate students in public history and related fields in their research by providing them with networking opportunities with other researchers and scholars, both inside and outside of the academy.

Recently relocated in Carleton University’s Library Archives on the 5^th floor, the collection offers a variety of materials including government literature, books, maps, ephemera and archival collections.

We are the caretakers of Ottawa’s documentary history, with a focus on preserving the records of its civic government and documenting the accomplishments of its Citizens.  We also make these records accessible, encouraging the exploration of our shared past.

Fishburn Sheridan Canada Ltd. provides engineering services for building owners, managers, and other construction industry clients from five offices across Eastern Canada.

The Strutt Foundation was established in 2008 following the death of James W. Strutt, by his family, friends, and colleagues, and was incorporated as Fondation STRUTT Foundation in 2013 as a Canadian not-for-profit organization.

The Friends of the City of Ottawa Archives (FCOA) is a voluntary non-profit association that supports the Archives in protecting and sharing materials relating to Ottawa’s remarkable history.

Haunted Walks walking tours present the city the way it was meant to be seen – up close and on foot. None of our stories are exaggerated and several years of research have gone into each tour. Our tours and stories are second to none!

Heritage Ottawa is an organization of dedicated volunteers who are committed to promoting the appreciation and conservation of built heritage in Ottawa and the National Capital Region.
