Workshop – Towards a Municipal Commemoration Policy

March 23, 2018 - 09:00 - 12:00

The City of Ottawa is launching a commemoration policy renewal process towards developing and implementing an updated, single municipal policy for recognizing and celebrating many facets of Ottawa’s heritage, history, places, people and events.

The Capital Heritage Connexion, in partnership with the City of Ottawa’s Cultural Initiatives and Development Section, is pleased to invite you to attend the workshop “Towards a Municipal Commemoration Policy”. Listen to leading-edge panel presentations and participate in discussion groups to share your perspective with us.

The development of a City of Ottawa municipal commemoration policy is a recommended action in the CHC-approved Renewed Action Plan for Arts, Heritage and Culture in Ottawa (2013–2018).

We are eager to hear your thoughts on this subject, and hope you can attend!

Friday, March 23, 2018
From 9 am – 12 pm
Champlain Room
2nd Floor, Heritage Building
Ottawa City Hall, 111 Lisgar Street

The session will be presented in both English and French. Refreshments will be served.
