Diefenbunker, Canada’s Cold War Museum will be open for Remembrance Day on Saturday, November 11. On this day, they offer veterans and active military personnel, and their accompanying family members, free admission.
They will observe a moment of silence throughout the museum at 11:00 a.m.
During your visit, they encourage you to visit their family-friendly activity station and take a moment to share what peace means to you.
There will be no guided tours offered this day.
The Diefenbunker was an active military base for 32 years throughout the Cold War. Every Remembrance Day, they honor those who have served to make our world a better place. They  invite you to learn why we remember as you explore Cold War stories at the Diefenbunker.
