“A Knock at the Door” – An interactive theatre experience

Friday, October 7 and Saturday, October 8 with showtimes at 6:30 pm and 9 pm (the experience is approximately 1.5 hours in length).
Ages 18 and up.
Cost: $28.25 per person.
Advance registration is required.

You’ve been invited to a gathering, but the event is interrupted before it even starts by an unexpected knock at the door. Your host has gone missing and it is up to you and the other guests to work together to complete puzzles, crack clues and solve the mystery before time runs out. Don’t act too rashly! Each choice you make may change the outcome. Explore a 19th century manor house after dusk as part of an interactive theatre performance that combines escape room and choose-your-own-adventure elements. Light refreshments will be offered after the experience.

“A Knock at the Door” is presented in partnership with the Governor General’s Award-nominated theatre group Live History(link is external).

Notes:

  • “A Knock at the Door” is presented in English.
  • Tickets are not available for purchase at the door; advance registration is required. Shows with insufficient registration may be cancelled. If an alternative showtime can not be accommodated, a refund will be issued.
  • Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes in advance of your show’s start time. There will be no further admittance after the show begins.
  • The experience will take place primarily on the ground floor of the house. The ground floor is accessible to most mobility devices. However, because the house was built to the standards of its time, the second floor is only accessible by stairs. Additional information regarding accessibility is available on the museum’s web page. If you have questions or concerns, please contact 613-580-9638 (Nepean Museum) or email [email protected](link opens email application).
