Paul J. Henry, City Archivist of Ottawa, began his archival career at the National Archives of Canada. He later served as an archivist at the Directorate of History and Heritage in the Department of National Defence.
Dedicated to his profession, he is a past president of the Archives Association of Ontario and a member of the international Academy of Certified Archivists. He also sits on the Standards Council of Canada’s Advisory Committee to ISO on archives and records management and the Canadian Council of Archives board.
As a historian, award-winning archivist, and specialist in information governance, Paul has lectured internationally and written on various topics. In his spare time, he is a licensed amateur radio operator and enjoys travelling.
