Architectural historians Andrew Waldron and Peter Coffman – author and photographer, respectively, of the recently published guidebook Exploring the Capital: An Architectural Guide to the Ottawa Gatineau Region – will lead an evening of storytelling about some of Ottawa’s most interesting buildings and places.
The event, entitled Built Ottawa: Our Places, Our Stories, will be held on May 8 at Dominion-Chalmers United Church and is part of Carleton University’s CU in the City series of talks that are open to the general public.
Waldron and Coffman will share a few stories uncovered while researching, experiencing and relishing some of our city’s most interesting architecture—and then invite audience members to do the same. So bring your memories, your experiences and your passion to share in this celebration of Ottawa’s architecture and places!
Admission is free but RSVP by email is requested.
