Think you have what it takes? Test your knowledge at the Smiths Falls Heritage House Museum Trivia Night on Aug. 5. Experience a night full of questions on pop culture, world history, Smiths Falls and numerous other categories. This event will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a short intermission in between. Bring friends and family together to compete as a team or come as an individual. From each category, the points will be counted and a winner will be chosen to receive a prize. Manage your time well, since you’ll be given a certain amount of seconds to answer each question. Bring your thinking caps to excel at this night. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Snacks and drinks will be provided to keep you refreshed while you compete and have fun.
The Heritage House Museum is also offering an August Board Game Café on Aug. 5. This event will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and the night will encompass numerous different board games and card games set out for attendees to play with. Experience a jump back to your childhood with classic games like Monopoly, Chess, Clue and Trivial Pursuit, or try out more modern games like Blokus, Harry Potter Trivial Pursuit or Apples to Apples. There will be a great number of unmentioned games as well, including some from the Victorian era. Bring friends and family out to this event to play together or come as an individual and join a game. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Snacks and drinks will be provided for this event.
