Summer hours have begun at all lock stations along the Rideau Canal Waterway.
Parks Canada says the hours will be 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Fridays, weekends and holidays.
Meanwhile, all vessels will be given free lockage this Sunday (June 24) as a thank-you to boaters for last year’s season.
Free lockage will also be available on Canada Day.
