2020 Capital Heritage Mentorship Program Welcome Session

For many, September is traditionally a time of (re)connecting.  Starting school.  Back to work. Networking.  Cultural inspirations.  Fall colours. Harvest flavours.  Despite the curveball the novel Corona virus continues to throw at us, we’re all striving to find ways to keep connecting – through virtual, distanced or smaller-scaled learning, meetings, activities, experiences and interactions.

Throughout these COVID-challenged days, Capital Heritage Connexion has been continuing to help connect the heritage community, our Members, and emerging and established heritage professionals.  The Xpress and our social media posts bring news of heritage offerings, headlines and opportunities.  Our Capital Heritage ConneX sessions bring Members together to share challenges, ideas and solutions – in particular, how to try to pivot through this pandemic.  Our professional development workshops and webinars connect Members with expert training and insights.  With the support of the Ottawa Community Foundation, our Capital Heritage Mentorship Program is once again connecting inspiring Mentors with talented Mentees and Interns eager to advance their careers in heritage.

And, we look forward to connecting with our Members during our virtual Annual General Meeting on September 29.  Not a Member yet?  Join us (currently at no charge).  We look forward to connecting you, and with you!
