Learn a new skill in a fun environment with Orienteering Ottawa! Surveying, and by extension orienteering, would have been a key skill for early settlers. This skill was essential not only for finding their way but also for organizing their settlements. Club members from Orienteering Ottawa will be on site to introduce visitors to the sport of Orienteering. Several courses will be set up across the museum grounds from beginner lengths to competitive, hour-long races. Barbecue will be available for cash purchase (organized by Orienteering Ottawa). Complement your visit with a stop inside the museum to learn more about the history of Pinhey’s Point.
This is a drop-in style program. No registration is required.
