July 27 – The Study of Trees
The house at Pinhey’s Point would have been built from locally sourced lumber. Can you identify the trees growing at our site? How would settler activities have changed the surrounding natural habitat?
August 10 – Bird Watching
Explore the natural animal habitat at Pinhey’s Point and learn more about the birds that call it home. How do the birds here compare to those you might see in the city (or even pet birds at home)?
