Goulbourn Museum’s March Break Craft Camp is a series of three creative workshops for children ages 6-11. Workshops take place from 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, March 12, Wednesday March 13, and Thursday, March 14.
On the Tuesday, upcycle boxes and tubes to create ! Make secret tunnels and doorways, turrets, drop bridges and more! Dream up the kings, queens, knights and princesses that could live there!
For Wednesday’s craft, they will be cooking up unconventional wall planters out of baking tins! There will be no baking involved, though! They’re going to fill them with sand, dirt and real live plants! And decorate them to match your room, too!
On the final day (Thursday) they’ll be turning clothing into marionette puppets! With doweling on the ends, they’ll be able to make dragons, snakes, fish, caterpillars or any creature you can dream up slither through the air!
Camps cost $25 per day or $65 for all three workshops (snacks and materials are included). Kits’ Club members’ rate is $20 per day.
