The Bytown Fire Brigade and the Manotick Volunteer Firefighters Association are bringing vintage firefighting vehicles and equipment to Dickinson House Museum. This will be a “hands on” event where you will be able to sit in the vehicles, handle some of the equipment, and even try your hand (literally) at operating the manual pumper. Experienced firefighters will also share information about the rich history of firefighting in the Ottawa Valley. This FREE event will appeal to all ages.
