Our members

The Beechwood Cemetery Foundation was established for the purpose of providing cultural, historical and conservation activities as part of its charitable mandate:  “for the beautification and maintenance of Beechwood Cemetery.”  Designated as the National Cemetery of Canada in 2009 by an Act of Parliament, this designation serves to make Beechwood a national place of tribute and remembrance for all Canadians.

Founded in 1994, the British Isles Family History Society of Greater Ottawa (BIFHSGO) encourages family history research and its dissemination by people with ancestry in the British Isles. Join us at our monthly meetings at Ben Franklin Place in Ottawa.

We collect, preserve, discover and share the history of Cumberland Township, Ontario, Canada.

A community group dedicated to the history of the former Goulbourn Township, now amalgamated into the City of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada.  Preserving and keeping local history alive is what we do so if you are interested in history and heritage, please join us.

Our mission:  To encourage, assist and bring together all those interested in the pursuit of family history.  We can help to “grow” your family trees and to discover new “branches.”

The Ottawa Jewish Archives collections encompass thematic areas including individuals, families, businesses, congregations, and community organizations and associations established and maintained by Ottawa’s Jewish community. The strengths of the collections are in their capacity to promote social histories that may otherwise be lost to time, and to preserve narratives that trace and celebrate the worth of Jewish people and Jewish heritage in Canada’s capital.

RTHS is a non-profit organization which strives to promote interest in historical topics and particularly in the people, communities, institutions and industries within the boundaries of the former Township of Rideau.
