Join our Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is a governance Board providing oversight and guidance to the Connexion’s Executive Director.  It is composed of volunteer members who are approved for a 2 year term.   We are currently seeking candidates that reflect Ottawa’s diverse heritage with an expertise in the following sectors: Culture, Heritage, History, Policy Development, Strategic Planning, Not for Profit Law, and Marketing and Communications.

Board Expectations:

• Attend 5 board meetings (approx. 2 hours long) per year
• Attend the General Meeting in December and the AGM in May/June
• Join a committee of the board (Comms and Outreach, Policy Review, Membership, Finance) and now an opportunity to join our Strategic planning Working Group
