Happy Heritage Holidays

The Capital Heritage Connexion was delighted to host a virtual 2020 Heritage Holiday Social on December 9th.  Our edu-taining event began with pomp and circumstance, as Town Crier Daniel Richer led us in toasts to ‘cry out’ this COVID-19 challenged year and ‘shout in’ a better New Year in 2021 (with a special maple beverage crafted for the occasion).  We were then serenaded by the Art-Folk bilingual duo, Moonfruits, with their rendition of ‘J’entends le Loup’.  Next, award winning playwright/actor/comedian Pierre Brault put us through our paces with some fun, interactive Heritage Trivia.  We happily revealed and awarded prizes we purchased from our Members to our trivia and holiday spirit winners.  And the evening ended beautifully, with a sing-along to the pipes of Sons of Scotland Pipe Major Bethany Bisaillion.

As this year draws to a close, let’s look forward to a better new year with Hope, and continued Resiliency – the theme for Heritage Day 2021 on February 16th (mark your new calendars now!).

The Connexion looks forward to continuing to serve, support, and connect our Members through, and beyond, these challenging times.  To become one of our valued Members, follow this link to submit your application.

Happy Heritage Holidays to All, and to coming together in 2021!
