Exploration children’s program at the Heritage House Museum in Smiths Falls

Are your children in the mood to explore this summer? Sign up for the Heritage House Museum’s Exploration Children’s program and chart a new land. Become a pioneer of exploration as you navigate the museum’s grounds and rooms. Children will participate in activities involving navigational skills such as an exercise on cardinal directions and a scavenger hunt activity. Children will also have to solve mysteries throughout the day while reading and learning about maps. They will participate in numerous interactive activities to enhance their experience as explorers including experiencing hardships and rewards. Learn what it was like to be an explorer charting new lands.

This is a full day program that will encompass hands on learning, physical activity, games and fun! This program runs on Aug. 18 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is for children ages six to 12 and is $25 per child. Please bring a lunch and appropriate footwear. Pre-registration is required.
